Agricultural training
At Miagro Shoppers, we understand that agricultural production, livestock management, financial literacy, and community development are vital components of rural communities in Uganda. That’s why we offer training on these topics, led by experienced facilitators. Farmers can learn best practices for soil management, crop protection, and efficient use of inputs such as water, fertilizer, and pesticides.
Miagro xpress shops
Miagro Shoppers is revolutionizing the way people in and around Kampala, Uganda, shop for their fresh produce. With 4 Miagro Xpress shops selling agricultural produce, Miagro Shoppers is helping to support local farmers and the local economy by providing access to the freshest produce available. The advantages of shopping at Miagro Shoppers are numerous. For one, consumers benefit from the freshest produce available, since it is often sourced from local farmers. This also helps to support local farmers and the local economy.
MiAgro girls’ Football Tournament
MiAgro Shoppers has designed a CSR intervention to attract and retain rural primary school girls back into schools. The MiAgro Girls Football Tournament (formerly known as the Usikate Tamaa Girls Football Tournament) is using football as a platform to improve girls' education outcomes and subsequently, the communities that they live in. Participation is open to primary school teams within the Kiboga district. Each participating school will form a group of at least 25 girls to participate in the program.
USSD
At Miagro Shoppers, we understand the importance of USSD codes for farmers in Uganda. That’s why we are utilizing USSD codes to help farmers access a variety of services and products. Through our USSD code, farmers can access agricultural advice, market prices, and weather forecasts. This helps them to make informed decisions about their crops and increase their income.
